Batyr Akhmedov delivers a RD1 bodyshot KO against Rey Perez

An Olympian with the Turkish National Team, Batyr Akhmedov carries himself like a silent assassin. He’s quiet, but is fundamentally sound and extremely dangerous. When he fought Manny Perez in September 2020, his body focused attack was more than enough to get him a victory inside of one round.

Akhmedov returns to the ring on Saturday, August 20, to face Alberto Puello for the vacant WBA Super Lightweight World title.
