Undefeated Russian middleweight prospect Victor Polyakov returns to action in Chicago this Friday night, June 1 at Cicero Stadium as he takes on Puerto Rican prospect Rene Luis Sierra in a six round bout at “Test Of Courage”, another evening of world class professional boxing presented by 8 Count Productions.
Polyakov, 3-0 with three knockouts, stunned the crowd at Par A Dice Casino in East Peoria, IL on April 7 with a devastating second round knockout of William Deets-Quintana. The 25 year old Polyakov had an outstanding international amateur career and has quickly built a reputation as a pro with his terrific skills and power in both hands.
The 24 year old Sierra, from San Juan, Puerto Rico, brings a record of 4-2-1 (2KO’s) into the bout with Polyakov.
Said Pesoli, “Victor is a terrific prospect, he had an excellent amateur background and is very serious about his pro career. Sierra is a tough prospect from Puerto Rico and this should be an excellent six rounder.”
