Final details have been announced for the huge Chicago Solo Boxeo “Test Of Courage” professional boxing event at Cicero Stadium this Friday night, June 1.
Said Dominic Pesoli, President of 8 Count Productions, “It’s an action packed card from start to finish. We’ve got 52 rounds of scheduled boxing over 8 fights.
“From the first bout at 6:30pm, fight fans will see some of the best national and local prospects in the sport.”
The full “Test Of Courage” card is;
Freddy Hernandez vs. Ben Tackie, ten rounds, welterweights
Daniel Jimenez vs. Angel Chacon, ten rounds, super featherweights
Jose Manuel Ortega vs. Randy Dodds, six rounds, junior welterweights
Victor Polyakov vs. Rene Luis Sierra, six rounds, middleweights
Jorge Gonzalez vs. Bruce Burkhardt, six rounds, junior middleweights
Jose Angel Rodriguez vs. Juan Pablo Montes de Oca, six rounds, junior middleweights
Ivan Popoca vs. Guadalupe Diaz, four rounds, welterweights
Leon Green vs. Gustavo Palacios, four rounds, welterweights
The open to the public weigh-in for this event will take place on Thursday, May 31st at 7pm at Club Aquarius, 2459 N. Pulaski, on the northwest side of Chicago.
The Master of Ceremonies for this event will be the internationally recognized voice
of Latino boxing, Lupe Contreras.
“Test Of Courage” is presented by 8 Count Productions along with Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions TCF Bank and Tecate Beer.
Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets are available in advance by calling 312-226-5800.
