Marquez was scheduled to fight a much anticipated rematch with Manny Pacquiao but purse demands scratched the possibility of that fight. Vazquez has twice defended the IBF title and holds a professional record of thirty-seven wins against three losses, only ten of his victories have lasted the full distance.
