Our President, Jose Sulaiman, as of last Sunday June 10th 2007, is one of the distinguished members of the International Boxing Hall of Fame, site into which he was inducted because of his unquestionable merits in an uninterrupted work of over 50 years, always looking for the best to our sport.

We do not want to be reiterative when talking about what the WBC maximum leader has done for the fist show, and above all, for boxers, people who he pointed out to the audience during his speech when the induction took place in Canastota, New York, he called them “my children”;

Nevertheless, we all know the number of rules that have been changed thanks to his work, enthusiasm and knowledge which have served to protect those who get in a ring, in every way.

Jose Sulaiman has led the WBC for 32 years, period of time in which he has changed Boxing more than it did from antiquity to 1975, when he became President of our organization during the convention carried out in Tunisia.
