On the undercard, cruiser Aleksander Gourov, former European Champ, stays busy against Belorussian Vitaly Shkraba. There is also a WBO Intercontinental title defence by Stanislav Merdov at featherweight and Vladimir Kravets is in against Dmitry Tarenko in a European External European Union 140 lb title fight. Team Palle begins the new season September 14 in Horsens with Johny Jensen vs. Louis Del Valle in a fight for the vacant WBA Intercontinental Cruiserweight title. Del Valle was the WBA champ at light heavy in the late 90´s.
