Heavyweight Calvin Brock maintained his undefeated streak by knocking out former Mike Tyson opponent Clifford Etienne out in three rounds. The fight was the main undercard bout to the main event of Juan Diaz defending his WBA lightweight title versus Canadian Billy Irwin. Etienne found himself on the canvas three times in the short three round fight before the fight was stopped. It is a win for Brock that could be seen as his coming out party, the first real name on his record and one that might signify the beginning of a new phase of Brock’s career as he looks to defeat even more recognizable fighters.
