(Brooks, CA) April 6, 2023 – Star Boxing’s undefeated super welterweight JAHYAE “THE GOLDEN CHILD” BROWN (13-0 9KO’s Schenectady, NY) steps into the limelight tomorrow night (April 7th) on ShoBox: The New Generation, at the Cache Creek Casino in Brooks, CA.
Argentinian, GUIDO SCHRAMM (15-1-1 9KO’S, Buenos Aires, Argentina) will be Brown’s toughest test to date, posing a threat to his perfect record. Both fighters weighed in today, Brown at 153.4 lbs and Schramm at 153.7 lbs ahead of their 10 round super welterweight tilt tomorrow night.
Brown had this to say about the opportunity, “I can’t wait for April 7th to get back in the ring and showcase my skills. Thank you Team Brown, Coach Dwight, Manager Rudy, Joe DeGuardia and Star Boxing for this great opportunity. Shoutout to all of my supporters in the 518 who will be tuning in or coming from Schenectady to watch me fight. We are going to have a great night. I’m looking to put on a beautiful performance.”
Star Boxing CEO, JOE DEGUARDIA always reminds his fighters to stay ready for when opportunity knocks. One month ago, Brown was coming off of a thrilling eight-round victory over Dennis Okoth at Star Boxing’s “Jersey City Fight Night.” Just one month later, DeGuardia was able to give Brown the good news that he would be the co-feature on a ShoBox card. Brown recognizes the opportunity in front of him, and now, in the national spotlight, “The Golden Child” looks to shine on Showtime.
