Miguel Espino Gets New Opponent For Friday’s Bout In Mexico

WBC CABOFE champion Miguel Espino (17-2-1 6KO’s), has another opponent pull out just days before fight night. Espino, who was scheduled to fight Rosario Escalante, will now face Roberto Valenzuela (39-33-2 34KO’s) out of Guatabampo Sonora Mexico.

An emergency family situation was the reason for Escalante’s departure. Espino will look to extend on his 8 fight winning streak while defending his title when he battles Valenzuela November 23, 2007 in front of a sell out crowd at the “Gymnasio Tigre Garcia” in Ensenada, Baja California Mexico. This will be the second 12 round bout for the former “Contender” star.
