In addition, Leija also fought Oscar de la Hoya, Shane Mosley, Kostya Tszyu, Juan Lazcano, Ivan Robinson, Francisco Bojado, Gabriel Ruelas and Mickey Ward. With a final tally of forty-seven wins against seven losses, two draws and nineteen knockouts, Leija leaves us but will be remembered as a champion and a true competitor.
