The verbal sparring continued at Friday’s weigh-in from Ballys Atlantic City between two out-going and antagonistic rivals Paulie Malignaggi (139) and Herman Ngoudjo (140). Malignaggi, the Brooklyn-born IBF 140-lbs champ and Ngoudjo, the top ranked contender, went nose-to-nose before an enthusiastic crowd after making weight. They will go toe-to-toe in the ring tonight, Saturday, Jan. 5, live on Showtime at 9 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the West Coast, for Malignaggi’s IBF strap.
The 12-round world title fight is promoted by DiBella Entertainment in association with Groupe Yvon Michel and will take place at Bally’s Main Ballroom at Atlantic City , N.J.
