Fight Skool’s New Term.

Sports Network’s Fight Skool returns for it’s second series on Friday 11 March and the door will open for the start of term at the Doncaster Dome. Following a successful first series, Fight Skool returns to showcase the hottest young prospects in Britain developing their talent, experience and profile with the aim of turning them into the stars of tomorrow. Headlining the show will be local hero and major ticket seller Jason Rushton who will challenge Hartlepool’s Lee Armstrong for the Central Area light-middleweight title. Chief-support sees Hartlepool welterweight Nigel Wright in a ten-rounder international contest against an opponent to be confirmed.

One fighter who is sure to break through this year is the exciting light-middleweight Martin Concepcion.

The Leicester hot-shot has lived up to his nickname ‘Immaculate’ by winning all nine of his fight with eight of them by knockout, seven inside two rounds!

Former World Featherweight Champion and Sky Sports Ringside commentator Barry McGuigan has picked Concepcion as his choice for ‘Star of 2005’.

Another attraction on the card is the highly anticipated professional debut of Nottingham’s hard-hitting super-middleweight prospect Ricardo Samms.

Samms is expected to make a big impact in the paid ranks following a glittering 67-fight amateur career with 40 knockouts and has won gold for England in Box-Cup tournaments.

Completing the undercard are popular Doncaster fighters Steffy Bull and Dean Cockburn.
