Jesse Brinkley and Otis “Triple OG” Griffin are locked and loaded for the “War for the West” boxing show at the Silver Legacy Resort and casino in Reno, Nevada.
At a press conference Wednesday, Brinkley stated that if he were to loose this fight he would hang up the gloves and retire.
“I’m not just fighting to be a draw, or even an opponent, I’m doing this to fight for a world title” stated Brinkley who has a 29-5 record
with 20 wins coming by way of Knock out.
Griffin, the former WBO-NABO light heavyweight champion, with a solid record of 18-2-2 is not taking Brinkley lightly.
“I have a feeling he’ll bring it on,” Griffin said. “I have to break Jesse. If you let him get confident, he’ll come on and it will have a
snowball effect.”
Brinkley also expressed his eagerness to get in the ring and get it on. “I’m done looking at him. I’m ready to hit him,”
The “War For The West” show is Friday February 22 at the Grande Exposition Hall in the Silver Legacy Resort/Casino in Reno Nevada by Let’s Get It On Promotions. Tickets are available through the Silver Legacy Box office or at www.silverlegacy.com
