At Foxwoods in Connecticut, a battle of light welterweight prospects was fought between Oscar Diaz and Al Gonzales on Friday night. Diaz moved his record to nineteen wins with only one loss by winning a ten-round decision over Gonzales who slipped to his second loss against sixteen wins and a draw.
In Hollywood, Florida on Friday night also, noted Canadian cruiserweight Dale Brown forced a stoppage of Shelby Gross in five rounds after putting gross down several times before the referee stepped in.
