Cory Phelps to Fight Bobby Gunn March 22nd!

Kentucky based veteran Cory “The Cobra” Phelps 11-3 (6 KO’s) has been named as the March 22nd opponent for former IBA cruiserweight champion and WBO title challenger Bobby Gunn 18-3 {15 KO’s}. The scheduled ten round contest will be the main event on a FelKO Promotions card which features five bouts in total. Upon hearing that an opponent was announced, Gunn was happy to finally have a foe in place.

“I am looking forward to fighting Phelps. I have been told he is a game opponent and comes to fight which is good because I’m ready for war! I have had an excellent camp with my trainer Chuck McGregor and I have got plenty of quality sparring. I had some let downs in 2007 but I am hoping to get back on track in 2008 by fighting top guys in the near future”, said the heavy handed Canadian.
