The full undercard is now complete for Friday’s promotion in Aarhus, Denmark where former world title challenger Allan Vester, 26-6-1 (5), takes on African champion Hassan “The Hitman” Saku, 9-3 (8), at welterweight, and super middleweight Fawaz Nasir, 12-2 (7), squares off with Tanzanian puncher Maneno Oswald, 27-16-1 (21), in the featured bouts.
Most interesting is a rematch between Danish super featherweight prospect Kim Poulsen, 7-1 (1), and the only man to have beaten him so far, tough Frenchman Tony Jourda, 8-5-1 (2). Jourda got a close and controversial decision over Poulsen a year ago in London, and the 21-year-old Dane is hungry to settle the score.
Former European welterweight champion Christian Bladt, 31-10-1 (8), is in with experienced Tanzanian Chaurembo “Firestone” Palasa, 19-14-1 (12), in a bout that promises fireworks. Bladt is known for his tendency to abandon defence in favour of offence, and Palasa has a similar style.
Also on the card will be a light welterweight contest between reigning IBF Intercontinental champion Peter Semo, 18-1 (13), and durable Pole Maurycy Gojko, 13-8-1 (5), and the evening kicks off with four amateur bouts involving some of Denmark’s best against opponents from the Czech Republic.
Team Vester promotes in cooperation with Risum Boxing, and tickets can be purchased via www.billetnet.dk and www.vester-boxing.dk – as a first in Denmark, the boxing will be combined with performances by some of the countries leading rap artists.
