Professional Boxing Debut For Philadelphia’s Leading Lady

Philadelphiaʼs very own first lady of amateur boxing, Faatimah “Tamika” Balmer, makes her professional debut against former New England Golden Gloves Champion, Alexandra Madgziak, at “Diamonds In The Rough”, presented by Peter Manfredo Sr. in association with Letʼs Get It On Promotions at Freeport (IBEW) Hall in Dorchester MA on May 17, 2008.

Faatimah, who trains at the Fast Lane Gym in West Philadelphia and has a stellar 42-6 amateur record, is making the transition to professional under the guidance of the highly rated trainer Zahir Justice.

Joining Zahir in Faatimahʼs corner will be current IBC and NBA Light Middleweight Champion, Eric ʽMurderʼ Mitchell.
