Second Time Lucky? Faatimah’s Pro-Debut Set for June 21

After the disappointment of having to postpone her professional debut last week, when her opponent withdrew from the bout, Philadelphia’s highly rated light welterweight Faatimah (Tamika) Balmer will instead be debuting at the Fight Night Productions promoted ‘History In Our City’ in Salem, New Jersey on Saturday, 21st June 2008.

A grinning Faatimah commented, “I am so pleased that my debut will be closer to home. Salem is so close. Now my family and local fans won’t have to travel hundreds of miles to see my first pro-fight.”

Another Philadelphia fighter on the bill at this event is light middleweight Nasir Burgess, who, like Faatimah, is coached by renowned trainer Zahir Justice at the Fast Lane Gym in West Philadelphia.
