Gankor Promotions, Inc., represented by promoter Chris Ganescu, won the purse offer for the rights to promote the light heavyweight championship fight between WBC world champion Chad Dawson of the U.S.A. versus WBC interim champion Adrian Diaconu of Romania.
Gankor bid $1,813,790.00 against Gary Shaw Promotions’ bid of $1,301,003.33.
Don Majeski was present in Mexico City where WBC President Jose Sulaiman conducted the purse offer ceremony.
