Diaz Vows To Lift Goat Curse From Wrigley Field After Pacquiao Boxing Showdown

Chicago-born WBC lightweight champion David Diaz proclaimed that when he defeats three-time world champion Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines, it will lift “the Curse of the Billy Goat” at Wrigley Field that was started in 1945 on the Chicago Cubs baseball team.

Diaz and Pacquiao will battle for the WBC lightweight championship on Top Rank’s “Lethal Combination” show, live on HBO Pay-Per-View beginning at 9PM on Saturday,June 28 at the Mandalay Bay Resort?and Casino in Las Vegas.
