Mexico No. 1 Cerveza Tecate brings Freddy “El Riel” Hernandez facing Edvan Dos Santos in welterweight bout
Cerveza Tecate presents another thrilling Friday boxing night from Tucson, AZ, as part of its continued efforts to bring the power of boxing to fans across the nation. This week’s edition of “Solo Boxeo Tecate” will be broadcasted as part of Telefutura’s programming.
“Solo Boxeo Tecate” hot-action night will showcase Mexican athlete Freddy “El Riel” Hernandez, 24-1 (18), and Edvan Dos Santos, 9-5-1 (7), from Tucson in 10 rounds of welterweight action.
“El Riel” will defend for the first time his IBA Welterweight belt, but oming from Brazil, Santos is looking for a victory in his second appearance in Solo Boxeo Tecate, after he faced the now world ranked Mike Alvarado in August, 2006
Additionally, Tomas “Norteño” Villa, 19-5-4 (12), from Midland, TX, will face Mexican fighter Gilbertos Sanchez-Leon, 20-5-2 (7), for the IBA Continental Featherweight title in ten rounds of action.
