Showtime Boxing: Tarver vs. Dawson Prepare For Meeting In Los Angeles

Antonio Tarver and Chad Dawson will hold a press conference tomorrow to announce the long-awaited battle of 175 pound kingpins when the two warriors square off for light heavyweight supremacy on Saturday, October 11, live on Showtime Championship Boxing.

The two light heavies have been waging a grudge match through the press ever since Dawson became a world class operator and began to threaten Tarver’s control of the division.

Immediately prior to the light heavyweight world championship, on a night that has electrified the boxing world, Showtime will present the WBC Heavyweight showdown between Samuel Peter and Vitali Klitschko on a tape-delayed basis from Berlin, Germany.

Tarver-Dawson will be promoted by AT Entertainment and Gary Shaw Productions in association with Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas from The Pearl Theatre at Palms Casino.
