Taylor and Ikeke Win.

Two more fight results from the Staples Center in Los Angeles to inform you of tonight before the main event. Highly-touted middleweight prospect Jermain Taylor decimated the previously undefeated contender Daniel Edouard in three rounds in the event’s chief support bout. Edouard had no answer for Taylor’s fast, hard-hitting style, but had plenty of verbal offense after he had been stopped. With the win, Taylor may have secured a mega-fight with Bernard Hopkins should “the Executioner” prevail over Howard Eastman.

Earlier on the card, in another middleweight contest, Kingsley Ikeke defeated Marcos Primera when Primera was unable to resume fighting through damage sustained to one of his eyes.

Stay tuned for all the news on the main event of Bernard Hopkins vs. Howard Eastman coming soon.
