In a first round knock out, Noah Zuhdi overpowered undefeated boxer George Colbert to claim the Oklahoma Lightweight title at a packed house, standing room only fight at Remington Park in Oklahoma City on Monday.
Zuhdi began his assault on Colbert by picking and choosing his power shots which were delivered with strategic accuracy at a controlled, effective pace.
Then, a minute into the first round, Zuhdi hit Colbert with a left hook to the head followed by an explosive barrage of punches which left Colbert reeling.
Twelve seconds later, Zuhdi delivered a devastating right uppercut that sent Colbert to the canvas. Colbert was unable to beat the count and Zuhdiʼs record is now 5-0 with five first round knockouts.
Zuhdiʼs was the seventh professional bout of the evening and was the main event at the fights promoted by catBOX Entertainment, who have now put on four shows at Remington Park.
