Boxing In Asia: Thai Promoters Recieve ABCO Awards

The WBC Asian Boxing Council (ABCO) announced the 2008 ABCO awards winners at a conference held on Tuesday, December 16 at Asia Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

The awards were presented by Pol. Gen. Kovid Bhakdibhumi, the WBC Vice-President and ABCO President.

Boxers and Promoters of OneSongchai.Co., Ltd have received the following awards: WBC #5 featherweight Chonlatarn Or Piriyapinyo was announced as “Outstanding Fighter of the Year,” former WBC Female Atomweight Champion Winyu Paradorngym as “Female Fighter of the Year” and Miss Pariyakorn Ratanasuban as “Honorary Promoter of the Year.”
