Stacked Flash Knockdown Ep6 Out Now

Matchroom’s weekly Flash Knockdown series has just dropped it’s sixth episode of the studio studio with arguably it’s most star studded line-up yet.

The Podcast which lived as an audio only offering until earlier this Summer previews Dave Allen’s fight with Arslanbek Makhmudov and Jaron Ennis’ Super Welterweight debut in Philly in it’s latest offering.

Guests on the show this week include Allen’s former school friend Louis Tomlinson, the singer-songwriter sensation who wishes his old pal well for Saturday’s headliner in Sheffield.

“Deep down he’s a really good guy, I’ve known him for years now. It’s amazing to see someone suceed who is so humble, with no ego and no filter. People like him because he says it how it is, especially in the spotlight people don’t often talk like that so I really respect that.

I’ve been to watch him fight before, it was quite intense knowing someone personally and seeing them in the ring. I’d love to come to the next one but it was very intense seeing your mate be smashed about!

I’m sending you all my love. I’m sure you’ve put in the hard work, you really deserve this man. Massive luck!” said Tomlinson.

Promoter Eddie Hearn expressed his delighted and mapped out Ben Whittaker’s route to a World Title and we also hear from The Surgeon who was fresh from signing his Matchroom contract.

Bozy Ennis also shared his thoughts on the link-up with Jack Catterall stateside and El Gato’s former training partner Pat Brown is backing a big performance from Dave Allen this weekend.
