Boxing In Canada: InterBoxe Announces Bute vs. Zuniga Undercard Lineup March 13 In Montreal

It is with much anticipation and excitement that InterBox unveils its undercard for its upcoming boxing gala, entitled “Superstition”, scheduled for Friday, March 13 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.

A busy night of fights is on order as five undercard bouts will be presented before the main event, which will showcase IBF Super Middleweight Champion Lucian Bute, 23-0 (18), who will put his title on the line against hard hitting Colombian Fulgencio Zuniga, 22-3-1 (19).

This event will be featured on PPV across Quebec and Canada via Bell, Indigo and Shaw, and the Main Event will be broadcast live on the popular Showtime Network in America as part of its “ShoBox: The New Generation” boxing series.

In the main supporting bout, WBC Continental Americas Middleweight Champion Renan St. Juste, 19-1-1 (12), will defend his title and try to add the NABA Middleweight belt to his impressive resume against respected Argentinean boxer Roberto Hernan Reuque, 30-2 (19).

St. Juste, who is promoted by InterBox and rated #9 by the WBC and #12 by the WBA, will have his work cut out for him against Reuque, who has experience fighting for and winning titles and will be looking to rebound from a rare loss in his last outing.

NABA and WBC Continental of Americas 140 pound champion ranked WBC #5, WBA #9 and IBF #12, JoJo Dan, 23-0 (13), will return to the Bell Centre ring after having his last three fights in his native Romania.

Dan will lace up the gloves against Mexican journeyman Cesar Soriano, 19-22 (13), in an eight round stay busy fight, as he eagerly awaits a world title shot or elimination bout opportunity sometime later this year.

The always spectacular Sebastien Gauthier, 15-1 (11), will also be featured on the Bell Centre card. Gauthier won his last two fights by knockout, and will be looking for number three against Jorge Andres Cardenas, 11-6-4 (7).

Quebec City boxers Pier-Olivier Cote and Eric Martel are set to keep their unbeaten records unblemished as Cote will go for win number five, but in his way will be Jesus Antonio Gutierrez, 5-2-1 (2), and Martel will look for his second win when he enters the Bell Centre ring against pro debut boxer Igor Konnov.
