Risum Boxing announced today that it will be Tanzanian banger Obote Ameme (36-18-2, 29 KOs) in the opposite corner of Kim Poulsen on June 19 in Horsens, Denmark. Nicknamed “The Thunder”, the 30-year-old African puncher stopped his last two opponents inside the distance, and will surely be looking to do the same to his Danish rival, and bring the UBO Intercontinental lightweight title back to Dar Es Salaam.
With no less than fifty-six professional fights, and seven title fights of various kinds, Ameme is with out a doubt the most experienced adversary and biggest challenge for the 22-year-old Horsens-resident so far.
