Conah Walker vs Sam Eggington Weigh-In Results: All Fighters Make Weight as Conway Withdraws
The scales are complete in Wolverhampton ahead of Saturday night’s Matchroom Boxing card at Civic Hall, headlined by the Midlands derby between Conah Walker and Sam Eggington, live on DAZN.
All fighters on the active card successfully made weight, although there was a late change with one bout falling through ahead of fight night.
Main Event
Conah Walker weighed in at 152.7 lbs, with Sam Eggington coming in at 152.3 lbs for their 12-round welterweight main event.
There was a clear contrast in mindset at the weigh-in.
Eggington, the seasoned veteran, remained calm and unfazed, treating the fight like just another night at the office. With over a decade in the sport, he made it clear he’s seen everything before and isn’t expecting anything new.
Walker, meanwhile, fed off the home support. Fighting in front of his own crowd clearly means something, and he looked energised by the occasion.
The hometown fighter acknowledged Eggington’s experience and toughness but backed himself fully, predicting a war if needed and showing confidence that he won’t be beaten on home soil.
Experience vs momentum. Calm vs emotion. Everything points towards a proper fight.
Co-Main Event / Key Fights
Bilal Fawaz hit the scales at 153.2 lbs, while Ryan Kelly came in at 153.8 lbs ahead of their 12-round clash for the British and Commonwealth super welterweight titles.
At super flyweight, Shannon Ryan weighed 114.5 lbs, with Nicola Hopewell at 112.0 lbs for their 10 x 2 minute round title fight.
Undercard
Further down the card, all remaining fighters made weight without issue:
- Tiah Mai Ayton – 125.7 lbs vs Stevi Levy – 125.4 lbs (featherweight, 8 x 2 rounds)
- Junaid Bostan – 158.0 lbs vs Mohammed Graich – 156.8 lbs (super welterweight, 8 rounds)

- Harley Burrows – 163.3 lbs vs Lewis Howells – 166.6 lbs (middleweight, 4 rounds)
Originally scheduled to feature on the card, the bout between Kieron Conway and Mark Jeffers was cancelled after Conway withdrew due to illness, having missed too much training in the build-up.
Closing
With the remaining fighters all successfully making weight, attention now turns to fight night in Wolverhampton.
The main event has all the ingredients for a classic, while the supporting bouts offer a mix of title action and rising prospects looking to make their mark.
