8 Count Boxing: Diaz, Chavez To Hold Public Workouts Today

Just days ahead of their lightweight showdown on Saturday night, September 26 at Chicago’s UIC Pavilion, former world champions David Diaz and Jesus Chavez will hold public/media workouts on today at Jabb Boxing Gym.

Fight fans are encouraged to join the local media as Diaz and Chavez wrap up preparations for their headline bout at “Warriors Collide/Windy City Fight Night 6”, an action packed seven bout card presented by Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions.

Jabb Boxing Gym is located at 410 N. Oakley on the near northwest side of Chicago (Phone 312-733-5222). Jesus Chavez will begin his open workout at 2pm, with David Diaz following at 3pm.

Tickets for “Warriors Collide/Windy City Fight Night 6” are priced at $151, $101, $76, $51 and $31, and are available through Ticketmaster www.ticketmaster.com the UIC Pavilion Box Office (312-413-5740) and the 8 Count Productions Office (312-226-5800).
