Johnny Fisher is topping the bill at London’s Copper Box Arena on Saturday, 26 September, even if the Craig Richards–Radivoje Kalajdzic fight looks like the one some boxing fans will circle first. Zuffa Boxing 11 has nine bouts in the supplied preview card, including two unbeaten matchups and a pair of professional debuts. Fisher against Michael Pirotton is the confirmed main event, with Richards against Kalajdzic as chief support.

Main event: Johnny Fisher vs Michael Pirotton

Johnny Fisher (14-1-0) faces Michael Pirotton (12-2-0) in a ten-round heavyweight contest. Fisher has the home crowd and the headline slot, but he also has a defeat on his record now. That makes this an interesting test of how he handles being the man everyone has come to see.

Pirotton comes to London with a chance to spoil that return. Heavyweight fights can turn quickly, and Fisher will want to impose himself without getting careless. It should tell us a bit more about where he stands than a routine comeback would.

Chief support and key fights

Craig Richards (20-4-1) meets Radivoje Kalajdzic (30-3-0) at light heavyweight. There’s plenty riding on this one for two experienced fighters looking towards bigger opportunities. Richards gets a significant name across from him; Kalajdzic arrives with the stronger win total. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the fight people are talking about on the way home.

At middleweight, Lee Cutler (16-2-0) takes on Louis Greene (19-4-0). Neither man has an unbeaten record to protect, and this has the feel of a fight where both will want to make their case loudly. Another middleweight pairing puts Cesar Mateo Tapia (18-0-1) in with Leo Ruiz (17-1-0). Those records make it one of the card’s more intriguing matchups on paper.

Undercard

Unbeaten cruisers Rogelio Romero (6-0-0) and Aurel Ignat (11-0-0) meet with one of those zeros set to go, unless they draw.

At featherweight, Alexis De la Cerda (9-0-0) faces Cain Lewis (10-0-1). Alex MacMillan (4-0-0) and Guillaume Azagier (2-0-0) also put unbeaten records on the line at super welterweight.

Kayla Allen makes her professional debut against Edina Kiss (17-21-0) at super lightweight. Lightweight Fred Pullen also debuts, facing Leonardo Faretina (8-9-2).

Fisher has the spotlight. Richards–Kalajdzic might steal it.
