Omari Jones stops Alan Sanchez in two rounds in Orlando
Omari Jones made short work of Alan Sanchez in the Project Series 2 main event, while Jordan Orozco Hernandez needed until round six to stop Yusniel Abrahante. Both unbeaten fighters left Orlando with their records intact.

Omari Jones (8-0-0) stopped Alan Sanchez (24-8-1) by TKO at 49 seconds of round two. A quick finish for the Orlando headliner, who barely gave the main event time to settle.
Other Key Fights
Jordan Orozco Hernandez (18-0-0) halted Yusniel Abrahante (8-3-0) by TKO at 2:31 of round six. Abrahante had made it into the second half of the scheduled ten rounds, but Orozco found the finish before the final bell.
Ronny Alvarez (8-0-0) won by retirement against Narciso Carmona (12-3-1) at the end of round three. Carmona did not come out for round four.
Donte Layne (9-0-0) earned a unanimous decision over Keithland King (11-3-0) after eight rounds. The judges scored it 78-74, 80-72 and 80-72.
Undercard
Fidencio Hernandez (5-0-0) edged Diego Yaniel Ortiz Nieves (4-1-0) by majority decision over six rounds. One judge had it 57-57, while the other two scored it 58-56 for Hernandez.
Jusiyah Shirley (10-1-0) took a unanimous decision over Kevin Castillo (6-3-1) after six rounds. The scorecards read 59-55, 60-54 and 59-55.
Angel Hernandez stopped Duilio Jaramillo by knockout in round one, at 2:56.
Ryan Santiago beat Jesus Molina by majority decision over four rounds. The judges scored it 40-36, 39-37 and 38-38.
Jones delivered the quickest finish of the night, while Orozco also made sure his fight did not go the distance. Orlando’s two headline bouts both ended inside the scheduled rounds.
