Cherry Returns with a Win.
Bahamian lightweight fighter Edner “Cherry Bomb” Cherry returned to form last night with a hard-fought decision win over former notable featherweight contender Juan Polo Perez. Cherry received much attention in his challenge to Ricky Quiles in his last fight, a contest in which he pressed the action but in the end, was comprehensively outboxed by the slick veteran Quiles. Perez was not a similar challenge for Cherry and with ths win, Cherry moves his record to eighteen wins against three losses and two draws with seven stoppages.
