De La Hoya Opponent Still Uncertain.
Boxing legend Oscar de la Hoya is set to return to action for the first time since losing by ninth round knockout last year in a bid for the undisputed middleweight championship. Bernard Hopkins put paid to De La Hoya’s middleweight ambitions, and De La Hoya will return to the ring since suffering his fourth loss; the return happens in September, but who it will be against and the weight it will come at is still uncertain. Of course, De La Hoya’s millions could secure him a fight wherever and with whomever he wanted, but it will be a year out of the ring since he fought Hopkins and at thirty-two, this uncertainty is somewhat unsettling. Whether it is a welterweight fight against the likes of Zab Judah, Antonio Margarito or Shane Mosley, a middleweight fight against Ronald Wright, or another excursion into the 154-pound class, SaddoBoxing.com will bring you the latest as soon as it happens.
