Boxing Weights: Arthur Abraham vs. Carl Froch

Former world champions “King” Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25 KO’s) of Germany and Carl “The Cobra” Froch (26-1, 20 KOs) of England both made weight Friday for their eagerly awaited fight tomorrow/Saturday, Nov. 27, on Showtime at 9 p.m. ET/PT, same-day-delay, from Helsinki, Finland.

The 12-round fight will be the final Group Stage 3 bout in the Super Six World Boxing Classic and for the vacant WBC 168-pound championship.

Abraham weighed 167.2 pounds, Froch 166.76 pounds.

In the second bout of the split-site doubleheader tomorrow/Saturday on Showtime, unbeaten Andre Ward (22-0, 13 KOs) will defend his WBA 168-pound crown against Sakio Bika (28-4-2, 19 KOs) live from the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif.
