McBride on NER Radio.

ByBoxing Press 14/06/2005

New England Ringside president Rick Brutti today announced that the twice-weekly New England Ringside Radio Show has expanded into Rhode Island and soon will be the most frequently aired broadcast in boxing.

“This is the next step in our expansion throughout New England,” Brutti explained. “We want to provide information and entertainment to boxing fans all over New England and eventually across the country.”

Thursday night’s two-hour New England Ringside Boxing Radio Show – hosted by Ted Bodenrader, Anthony Pepe, Rick Brutti and Joe Bills – airing between 6-8 PM/ET on Boston’s Boxing Station, The Zone (1510 AM). Starting this week it will now be simulcast on 1320 AM The Drive in Providence. This week’s guests are Kevin “The Clones Colossus” McBride, hot off his upset of Mike Tyson, WBO heavyweight champion Lamon Brewster and Mike DeLisa, the historical consultant for “Cinderella Man.”

The Drive (1320) will broadcast one-hour shows, 6-7 PM/ET from Providence, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Saturday night’s show, broadcast weekly between 7-9 PM/ET, is hosted by NER’s Bill Skog, “Irish” Pat Kelley, “Dynamite” Danny Sheehan and Jeff “HellRaza” Fraza. This week’s guests include Main Event’s hard-working publicist Donald Tremblay. Saturday evening’s show will be simulcast on 1320 The Drive starting in September.
