Quiles Primed for Title Shot.

Lightweight contender Ricky “Showtime” Quiles maintained his position as a top contender and earned the right to meet the winner of the upcoming IBF lightweight title fight by posting a unanimous decision win over former champion Javier Jauregui last night in Florida. As against Edner Cherry last time out, Quiles proved too much for his opponent and took the unanimous decision. He now waits for the winner of tonight’s clash between Italian Stefano Zoff and DiBella Entertainment’s lightweight contender Leavander Johnson which takes place in Italy.
