Augustus Takes out Oliveira.

“Sucra” Ray Oliveira had the distinction of having never been stopped in fourteen years as a professional until last year when current IBF light welterweight champion Ricky Hatton stopped him in ten rounds. Firday night in New Hampshire, Emanuel Augustus repeated the trick only two rounds earlier. Augustus, the most popular fighter in the world with twenty-four losses took the win, his second since losing an extremely controversial decision to Courtney Burton; a fight that had many in boxing seriously questioning the practises of those administering boxing in the state of Michigan. Both men appear to be at the end of their careers but the tricky Augustus might still provide a stern test for up and coming fighters.
