Another Loss for Holyfield.

Everyone knew the result that might come to pass even before the fight, everyone but Evander Holyfield that is. When Holyfield was in his prime, a fighter at the level of Larry Donald would not have been able to live with him any day of the week. But in

2004, Evander Holyfield is a shot fighter and fighters like Donald can claim themselves a name worth mentioning on their record quite easily against him. The decision was a virtual shutout for Donald who managed to cleanly out-box Holyfield, whose severely depleted workrate left him unable to capitalize on any openings arriving before him. Donald becomes the latest to claim Holyfield’s scalp, it is unknown where he will figure in the heavyweight division now, but Holyfield, amazingly still maintaining that he will not retire, should get out of the sport. Evander, the dream is over.
