New heavyweight contender Chazz Witherspoon is learning his trade at a quick pace. Since turning professional last year, he has fought and won six times, knocking out four of his opponent’s. Granted, most of Witherspoon’s opponent’s have had losing records, but that is usually the way of things when a young fighter is brought along, especially in the heavyweight division when one punch can explode any ambitious contender. Witherspoon is being guided through his early career by famed manager Shelly Finkel who has spent professional time guiding such names as Mike Tyson, Fernando Vargas and Francisco Bojado, as well as being a current advisor to WBC world heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko.
