Boxing’s new undisputed middleweight champion Jermain “Bad Intentions” Taylor enjoyed the support of his home followers in Arkansas, Texas recently. Taylor was at the center of a victory parade to celebrate his close win over former champion Bernard Hopkins on July 16. Hopkins tried to rain on Taylor’s party by filing appeals to get his titles back, but the Nevada State Athletic Commission would have none of that and it looks as if a rematch between the two will happen by the end of the year. For now, under the DiBella Entertainment banner, Taylor continues to celebrate an historic win and let the reality soak in that he is in fact the new undisputed middleweight champion.
