Juarez to Fight Humberto Soto in Chi\’s Absence.

WBC featherweight champion In Jin Chi is off the August 20 card, but the show must go on. Chi’s defense against dangerous left-hooker Rocky Juarez could have been one of the greatest fights of the year until Chi’s injury removed that possibility. Instead, Juarez must make do with fighting young Mexican battler Humberto Soto. There is a rumor circulating that the fight may receive sanctioning as an interim title fight, but no confirmation is available at this time. Juarez is undefeated in his ring campaign of twenty-three wins while Soto brings a record of thirty-six wins, five losses and two draws into the fight.
