Khan Securing Future Fights.

Teenage boxing sensation Amir Khan will follow up his professional debut, made in July in his hometown of Lancashire with another professional outing in quick succession. Khan made swift work of getting rid of first opponent David Bailey’s challenge, and he will have the chance to impress a wide audience once again as he makes his next appearance on the under-card of Joe Calzaghe’s record-breaking WBO super middleweight ttile defense at the Cardiff International Arena on September 10. It is also rumored that should Khan, as expected, dispose of Baz Carey in his second fight, then the talented youngster will make his way to the Braehead Arena in Glasgow in October for his third professional outing in as many months. If this route proves a reality, Khan will indeed enjoy maximum exposure, being a support attraction to major world title fights invovling Calzaghe and WBO featherweight champion Scott Harrison.
