Dublin To Host Irish Amateur Awards Night November 9

Tickets are available for the IABA Annual Awards Night at the Green Isle Hotel in Dublin on November 9th.

2012 marked another outstanding year for the IABA, with four Olympic medals claimed at the 30th Olympiad in London, one gold at the AIBA World Women’s Championships in China and an unprecedented 10 medals secured at the 10th European Schoolboy Championships in Russia being amongst the highlights of the season.

Larry Morrison, IABA Treasurer, described 2012 as a tremendous year.

“This is a very special year for the awards as our boxers have achieved outstanding success at all levels and weights in various competitions throughout the year. Last year’s awards were enjoyed by all present and we intend that this year’s celebrations will be equally as good,” he said.

Green Isle Hotel, Naas Road, Dublin 12, Friday 9th November, Dinner at 8.30pm sharp, Black Tie event, Price €40.
