Beyer Eases Past Sheika.

As expected, three time WBC super middleweight champion of the world Markus Beyer entertained his German fans by outpointing perennial contender Omar Sheika of America last night in Germany. The fight signals Sheika’s fourth world title loss, having already lost to Joe Calzaghe, Eric Lucas, Jeff Lacy and now Beyer. The scorecards told of Beyer’s dominance by the following scores: 116-112 twice and 118-110. Beyer is expected to defend against the winner of an elimination series currently being planned.
