Flores Survives Knockdowns to Prevail in Thriller

Felix Flores keeps the WBO Latino Welterweight title but had to climb off the canvas twice to do so on Telemundo’s broadcast from Kissimmee, Florida. Opponent Alejandro Juarez dropped Flores in the very first round but the former two time light welter world title challenger
from Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico made a full recovery. In the eighth round Juarez did it again but couldn’t finish Flores off, which proved to be a fatal mistake as the reigning titlist overwhelmed the Mexican challenger in the twelfth and final round.
