Bernard Hopkins hangs up his gloves for a moment to put on his promoter’s cap. He and his top ten ranked Junior Welterweight nephew, Demetrius Hopkins, will be traveling from Philadelphia to Tucson on Wednesday in time for fighter weigh – ins on Thursday at The Desert Diamond Casino Sports Bar. All fighters, including Kassim Ouma, Vicente Escobedo, Rock Allen, Otis Griffin and David Lopez, will be available for comment.

This outstanding night of fistic action presented by Golden Boy Promotions in association with Peltz Boxing Promotions will be aired live on ESPN2’s Friday Night Fights beginning at 7:30pm ET.

Doors open at 5:00pm, and the first bell rings at 5:30pm.
