Winky Promotions, Peter Kahn Entertainment and DRL Promotions are proud to announce a night of professional boxing with an exciting lineup of bouts.

The card, to be televised by ESPN 2 will be held at Club Cinema in Pompano Beach, Florida on Friday, May 19. The card will consist of seven bouts featuring Alejandro Berrio taking on Yusef Mack for the International Boxing Federation No. 2 spot in a 12 round elimination bout in the super middleweight division.

Berrio (24-4, 23KOs) of Cartagena, Colombia is 5-1 in his previous six bouts. In his most recent bout, Berrio defeated Eusebio Chiquillo on March 3 by way of a four round knockout in Colombia. The hard hitting Berrio viciously KO’d Syd Vanderpool in April, 2005 in Hollywood, Florida. Eight months later, Berrio was defeated by way of a disputed eleventh round technical knockout at the hands of Robert Stieglitz in Germany in an IBF elimination bout for the No. 1 and mandatory position in the super middleweight division.

Mack (22-0-2, 14KOs) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, undefeated in 24 bouts, is coming off KO victories in his previous two bouts. Mack, the reigning United States Boxing Association champion won the USBA title in 2004 by defeating Shannon Miller via an eight round TKO in Las Vegas. Mack has successfully defended the USBA title three times in the past two years. The Philadelphia standout is making his first attempt in an IBF elimination bout.

The co-feature consists of undefeated welterweight Richard Gutierrez from Colombia. Gutierrez (18-0, 11KOs) is coming off a hard fought ten round victory over Hicklet Lau on April 22 in Florida. The exciting welterweight prospect will be making his television debut on ESPN.
