Matchroom Announces Massive London Christmas Show

Anthony Joshua, Kevin Mitchell, Lee Purdy, Jamie McDonnell and John Ryder are all in action on a packed end of year Matchroom Sport show at the ExCeL London on December 14, live on Sky Sports.

London Olympic gold medallist Joshua will return to the scene of his incredible triumph when he meets Wales’ “Dangerous” Dorian Darch in his fourth professional fight.

Kevin Mitchell will defend his IBF Inter-Continental Lightweight title against Brunet Zamora, as he hunts down a second shot at a World title.

Victory over the Italian, who is ranked one place higher than him with the IBF at number eight, would move the popular Londoner into striking distance of landing that chance in 2014 with current champ Miguel Vasquez.

Lee Purdy challenges unbeaten Leonard Bundu for the European Welterweight title and former unbeaten World Bantamweight champion Jamie McDonnell is set to be in action after his spot on the Carl Froch vs. George Groves bill.

Middleweight star John Ryder is back in action and there are outings on the bill for Erick Ochieng, Martin J. Ward, Ben Ileyemi and Wadi Camacho.

Tony Owen defends his Southern Area Light Welterweight title against Ricky Boylan, while Danny Connor faces Tyler Goodjohn.
