Below are a pick of some of the action-packed battles that are available 24/7 on the Coldwell Television App.

To download Coldwell Television for free, visit the App store on your mobile device and begin watching some of the star names of British boxing immediately.

Sean Dodd v Lee Connolly- Liverpool Olympia, June 2013

A cracking four round duel that never let up once the first bell went. Dodd got off to the perfect start when he dropped his opponent early on but any hopes of a premature finish were dashed due to Connolly’s rugged determination.

The Derbyshire man refused to take a backward step but his industry wasn’t rewarded as the popular Dodd took a deserved verdict in front of his home support.

Curtis Woodhouse v Shayne Singleton- Manchester Bowlers, Manchester, March 2013

One of 2013’s biggest talking points occurred following this excellent bout as Shayne Singleton took an unpopular split decision verdict to the bemusement of a sold-out Bowlers venue.

This English title battle was a fantastic clash of styles that saw Singleton’s back foot boxing aim to take the steam out of Woodhouse’s relentless workrate. This worked well in small doses but the majority of those in attendance were certain that the former footballer had got his tactics spot on.

Chris Healey v Junior Miller- Manchester Bowlers, Manchester, December 2012

Quite how these two marauding cruiserweights squashed so much into four rounds of action is a mystery. Miller, who began as the underdog, displayed his brutal intentions from the outset as he floored the Stockport man in the opening session.

With his confidence soaring, Miller sought the stoppage but his onslaughts were managed admirably by Healey who slowly got himself back into the fight. With Miller a mile in front heading into the ultimate stanza, Healey gave it everything he had which resulted in Miller being hurt by several stinging shots. This was enough to earn Healey an unlikely victory as the watching official sensibly halted proceedings.

Nav Mansouri v Nathan Graham- Magna Centre, Sheffield, June 2012

Arguably the best action of 2012 and a contest that Dave Coldwell described as “the best fight I’ve ever promoted” was the brutal battle between Nav Mansouri and Nathan Graham which resulted in the former earning a sixth round stoppage in a ferocious war that swung both ways. Both combatants had their moments but it was Mansouri who capitalised on his as he forced a sensible intervention.

Curtis Woodhouse v Dale Miles- Magna Centre, Sheffield, June 2012

The main event to the show that featured the Mansouri/Graham epic was another high quality scrap which saw Curtis Woodhouse and Dale Miles exchange hellacious blows for the right to be number one contender for the British light-welterweight strap.

From the opening bell it became apparent that this intriguing clash of fan-friendly brawlers wasn’t going the distance and that became painfully evident in the 5th round as Miles found a superb shot to thwart his opponent’s title aspirations.

Chad Gaynor v Krzysztof Szot- Ponds Forge Arena, Sheffield, October 2013

One of the finest prospects in the entire Coldwell Boxing stable, Rotherham’s Chad Gaynor displayed many of his wonderful talents in this hard fought bout, but he was made to work for large portions by the gritty Krzysztof Szot who refused to ease the pressure.

Gaynor was fully in control in the fight’s early goings but his opponent rallied gallantly to make the Yorkshire protégé dig in to collect a wide eight round scorecard.

Matty Clarkson v Courtney Fry-Manchester Bowlers, Manchester, October 2012

The ideal clash that pits experienced veteran against rising prospect was on offer as Matty Clarkson jumped up in class to tackle Liverpool based Londoner, Courtney Fry. The Preston man’s risky gamble didn’t pay off as he fell somewhat short of causing an upset as Fry displayed his dominance.

Clarkson made a great start but he was unable to maintain it as Fry took control moments later. The experience paid off for Clarkson who rebounded from the setback to enjoy some superb results as Fry went on to unsuccessfully challenge for the Commonwealth light-heavyweight title.

Liam Conroy v Gary Cooper- Manchester Bowlers, Manchester, September 2013

A quality six round contest that was almost ended early on as Barrow’s Liam Conroy suffered a disastrous second round against Gary Cooper. Aiming to build on that solid session, the Welshman tried desperately to oust Conroy but was unable to sustain the attacks that brought him his initial success. Conroy fought back brilliantly and the bout was beautifully poised throughout but it was Conroy’s cleaner work in an action packed effort that got the nod.

Chris Healey v Paul O’Hagan- Manchester Bowlers, Manchester, June 2013
After suffering his first career defeat thanks to a nasty cut suffered against Paul O’Hagan, Chris Healey had revenge on his mind when the pair met again three months later.

Both provided great action in their inaugural battle and the action was intensified even more so second time around as they engaged in a bloody mess that was tight throughout. Healey made a superb start but that was dampened in the third round when he endured yet another laceration. O’Hagan was galvanised by the sight and pushed for a finish but Healey hung on to grab a 39-37 verdict.

Liam Cameron v Rod Smith- Ice Sheffield, Sheffield, December 2013

In one of his biggest gambles as a Promoter, Dave Coldwell placed his hopes on the shoulders of novice pro, Rod Smith, as he tackled the more vastly experienced, Liam Cameron, in a terrific encounter for the vacant Masters International Middleweight title. In only his 5th fight, Smith upset the odds as he produced a stunning display to earn the strap by the narrowest of margins.

Neither fighter could be accused of not giving it their all as the pair met head on to share several meaty exchanges. Ultimately, the scoring referee sided with Smith who is now amongst the mix in what looks an interesting 160lb division.
